 The Great Wall (Changcheng), totalling more than 12,000 Km, is arguably the most famous image of China throughout the world. It is the only man made object visible from the moon. The Wall Stretches from the east coast to the Gobi Desert in the west. In many locations, separate walls to keep out marauding nomads, were linked up. The most Toursisted area of the wall is Badaling.
