This bridge was China's first seaport bridge. Built in 1053, the bridge boasts 10 metre long stone slabs which weigh up to ten tons each. The bridge is a marvel of engineering using the secretions of live oysters to help cement the huge stones together. Although the bridge is not as long as it once was, it is still worth a visit. It was renovated in the 1990s and the renovation has cost over one million Chinese Yuan.
