Xiamen Huihe Stone Cultural Garden
Located in the northeastern part of Xiamen Zhonglun Park on Lvling Road, covering an area of about 12,000 square meters. It is a thematic garden of stone culture where traditional Chinese landscape scenes blend perfectly with modern Japanese layout elements.
The Garden showcases the enduring history of Southern Fujian’s stone culture and stands as a testament to the co-development of stone art and human civilization.
Representing the “intangible assets” of Huihe, this gallery contains a corridor of stone sculptures by leading artists and a large collection of prized Buddhist artifacts dating back to the Han, Tang, and Qing Dynasties. It also features unique exhibitions ranging from human figure and animal series to literary stone carving art.

Brief Introduction of Shadow Carving
Shadow carving is dotted on black stones, creating stonework as vivid and lifelike as a photograph.
“People produce embroidery on silk in Suzhou, while they embroider on stones in South Fujian.”This “miracle” of stone carving can capture birds, animals, landscapes, and even intricate mountain rivers on a small black stone. Unlike photos, shadow carving never yellows or fades, making it windproof, rainproof, and a gift of high artistic value.
Ms. Li Yahua, the general manager and representative inheritor of this immaterial cultural heritage, has produced prize-winning works like the “Boat Tracker.”
