Go beyond the basics. This 4-day workshop is a flagship of our Fujian Photography Tours, designed to put you in front of the most poetic landscapes in China.
Day 1: Arrival & Shajiang Sunset
Pick up from Xiapu Railway Station. We start with the Shajiang Sunset. As outlined in our Xiapu Photography Guide, the “S” curves of the bamboo poles are best captured from a high vantage point.
Day 2: Huazhu Sunrise & Yangjiaxi Trees
A legendary morning at Huazhu Sunrise. Then, move to Yangjiaxi to shoot ancient Banyan trees. This journey is a key part of the broader Fujian Tours experience for visual storytellers.
Pro Note: Huazhu is ideal for wide-angle island vistas; Yangjiaxi requires timing for the “Jesus light” through the foliage.
Day 3: Mantoushan & Xiaohao Mudflat
Sunrise at Mantoushan followed by Kelp harvesting. We end at Xiaohao, where sandy mudflats create shimmering textures, a highlight often featured in our Fujian Day Tours.
Day 4: Beiqi “Tiger Stripes” & Departure
Capture the world-renowned Beiqi Sunrise featuring the “Tiger Stripes” of the mudflats. Final shoot at Hanjiang before your departure, concluding your immersive Fujian Destination experience.
