Pick up from hotel in Xiamen in the morning, take a 2-hour drive to Yongchun, a county in the western city of Quanzhou and the famous hometown for overseas Chinese in Southeast Asia. Visit Yongchun Laocu Vinegar Cultural Park, Dongguan Bridge, Yongchun Incense Cultural Park and Hushan Ancient Town.. Transfer back to Xiamen after the tour.
Yongchun Laocu Vinegar Culture Park: Yongchun Laocu (old vinegar) Vinegar is one of the 4 most famous traditional vinegar in China. The cultural park is part of the oldest vinegar factory in Yongchun where traditional vinegar workshop is well kept
Dongguan Bridge: This gallary style bridge was originally built in the year 1145. Although it was rebuilt several times through the ages, but it still retains many characteristics of the Song Dynasty bridge and kept oepn ever since. If ranking the bridges in China, then this bridge should be able to be at least the top ten.
Yongchun Incense Culture Park: Yongchun Dapu Town, known as the “Incense Capital of China”, has a history of more than 300 years of incense. The culture park is part of a mordern incense factory featuring an incense museum and a traditional incense workshop where visitors can learn and experien traditional process of incense.
Hushan Ancient Town: Located in the south of Yongchun County, this ancient town includes 4 traditional South Fujian Village and is the the hometown of Qingshui Master, who was a great Buddhist monk in 12th century and still has numerous faithful disciples all over China and the world.
